Pork Chops with Onion Soup Mix FAQs
Keeping pork chops tender is all about the moisture and the temperature! In this recipe, the pork chops are coated in sour cream, which combines with the juices from the pork and lets the meat soak in its juices while it cooks so it stays nice and tender.
Pork is on its own a very mild meat, meaning most of the flavor comes from the cooking method and seasonings. For flavorful pork chops, add lots of flavorings in the form of a rub or flavorful gravy. This recipe uses a soup mix, which is chock full of seasonings perfect to use on pork chops!
Pork chops are the perfect choice for a keto meal plan! They're filling and have no carbs, making them the perfect choice as the main course for dinner. Just be sure to check what you're seasoning them with, and take my advice: use pork rind as a breading! It's low carb and totally delicious.
