Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except salt to a bowl.
1 Cup Brown Sugar, ¼ Cup Black Pepper, 3 Tablespoons Paprika, 2 Tablespoons Garlic, 2 Tablespoons Minced Onion, 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  • Thoroughly mix together until completely combined.
  • Rub the pork with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt all over.
Olive Oil - according to size of pork, 2 Tablespoons Salt
  • Sprinkle with the remaining pork rub and pat it down to coat the pork completely.

Notes

  • Adding salt before the remainder of the pork rub helps the salt seep into the meat and adds better flavor. However, if you are making the pork rub ahead of time, you can also mix it with the salt to store it all together. It will still be delicious.
  • You can adjust the level of brown sugar and chili powder based on how sweet or spicy you would like it to be.
