Pulled Pork Pizza

My incredible Pulled Pork Flatbread Pizza is ready in only 15 minutes and loaded with juicy pork and melted cheese, all on a crispy crust!

Ingredients

  • 1 Flatbread thin crust
  • cups Pulled pork my recipe or other
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese of coice
  • 1 teaspoon Sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • Buffalo ranch dressing to taste
  • Cilantro chopped, to taste
  • 1 Egg optional, fried

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F, and place the flatbread on a baking sheet with half of the shredded cheese sprinkled evenly on top.
    1 Flatbread, 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • Top the flatbread with one cup of the pulled pork, then sprinkle on the garlic powder. Add the rest of the pulled pork, spread evenly, then the red pepper flakes.
    1½ cups Pulled pork, ½ teaspoon Garlic powder, ½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the flatbread is browned and crispy and the cheese has melted.
    1 cup Shredded cheese
  • Remove from the oven and top with sea salt, then ribbons of dressing to taste. Finish with fresh cilantro and a fried egg, and serve!

Notes

  • Flatbread pizza is all about customizing it to be just what you want! Add any toppings you desire, like chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or tomato.
  • The cheese is completely up to your taste. I find that mild cheddar or mozzarella pair well with the more flavorful pulled pork.
  • Personally I love buffalo ranch dressing, but any creamy dressing will work well! Plain ranch or even Caesar salad dressing are delicious, too.
  • No flatbread, no problem! Try this recipe using naan, or you could even eat it on pita by baking it for slightly less time. It would be delicious on ciabatta or baguette, too!
