Ham Steaks

  • 1 package Ham steaks
  • 1 teaspoon Rosemary chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter

Ham Steak Glaze

  • ¼ cup Light brown sugar packed
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • In a small bowl combine brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, rosemary, and ground cloves together.
    ¼ cup Light brown sugar, ½ teaspoon Garlic powder, ⅛ teaspoon Ground cloves, 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar, 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon Rosemary
  • Add butter to a skillet over medium heat. Once melted add ham steaks and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side, or until browned.
    1 package Ham steaks, 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • Spoon half of the glaze mixture over the top of the ham steaks and smooth evenly across.
  • Flip the ham steaks and add the second half of the glaze. Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until browned and the glaze has become thick and sticky.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • The glaze for this recipe is perfect for customizing! I love adding a pinch of cinnamon to compliment the cloves, or swapping the Dijon out for Honeycup mustard!
  • Depending on how thickly cut your ham steaks are, you may need to cook the ham for less or more time to heat it through. Don't cook it too long, or it can get tough!
  • Save any leftover glaze to pour over the steaks before serving!
