You will need...

– Pork loin, cubed – Canned whole peeled tomatoes  – Yellow onion – Olive oil – Garlic, minced – Red wine – Red pepper flakes – Fresh basil, chopped – Salt and pepper, to taste – Bucatini pasta

Let's make Pork Sugo!

Step 1

 Add oil to a skillet over medium heat on the stove. Once hot, add pork loin, searing on all sides until browned. Add remaining oil to a large dutch oven over medium heat.

Step 2

Once hot, saute onion and garlic for 3-5 minutes until fragrant.

Step 3

Pour in canned whole peeled tomatoes and stir to combine.

Step 4

Add the red wine.

Step 5

Season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and fresh basil. Stir to combine.

Step 6

Add cooked pork to the sauce and combine well.

Step 7

Let the sauce simmer for at least 1 hour. Serve and enjoy!
