Mushroom Pork Chops

You will need...

– Pork chops – Salt – Pepper – Olive oil – Mushrooms – Onion, sliced – All-purpose flour – Chicken broth – Heavy cream – Worcestershire sauce – Dijon mustard – Fresh thyme, optional – Parsley, optional

Let's make Mushroom Pork Chops!

Step 1

 Season pork with salt and pepper. Heat oil and butter in a skillet. Add pork and sear 5 minutes on each side. Remove.

Step 2

Add mushrooms and sliced onions. Cook until golden-brown and caramelized.  Add flour. Stir to coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

Step 3

Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Whisk until it thickens.

Step 4

Add salt and pepper to the pan, to taste. Place the pork chops back in the pan and cover with the gravy. Allow it to heat through.

Step 5

Plate, then spoon the gravy over the pork chops to serve. Garnish with fresh thyme and parsley if desired. Enjoy!
