What makes this recipe special?
Most of the cook time is hands-off, so you can start it early and have plenty of time to whip up some delicious side dishes!
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Place the ham cut-side down on a roasting pan and tent with foil. Bake for 1 hour.
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the honey, brown sugar, garlic powder and black pepper in a small mixing bowl, then add the melted butter and mix.
Remove the roasting pan from the oven when one hour has passed. Take off the foil and brush the surface of the ham with glaze, making sure to separate each slice.
Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the roasting pan, to make sure the ham stays moist while finishing cooking.
Without covering the ham, return the roasting pan to the oven and bake for 30 additional minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven, slice if necessary, and serve!
